A Tailored Approach To Health

Every single person is an individual with their own specific health and fitness needs. Our team has a wide range of skills to help you to be able to overcome whatever challenges you may have. You may have felt in the past that you were in the ‘too hard basket’ to use a regular gym – here you will find that the ‘too hard basket’ is where we excel!

Helping people with disabilities improve their health and achieve independence is one of the cornerstones of our organisation. We work with both adults and kids to increase their strength, coordination, balance, stamina and general health. Because we work in the non-clinical environment of a CrossFit gym, there is no separation between a person with or without a disability. We treat each person the same and work to their own individual abilities.

Each persons challenges are unique and varied. If you have a rare disability we haven’t worked with before then we will go out of our way to research and up skill on how to help you best.

Chronic Pain and Conditions

Many people living with chronic pain have given up on getting relief and living a normal life. With an appropriate exercise plan there is a high chance that your pain can be reduced and your every day function increased.

Exercise is often overlooked but in reality it is one of the most powerful treatment tools available.

Joint or Muscle Pain/Injury

Our team is highly experienced at working with muscle and joint injuries including lower back pain, shoulders, knees, ankles and wrists. Rather than using passive treatments such as a tens machine or ultrasound, all our treatment is active based and will involve both mobilisation and stabilisation exercises to return normal function.

Falls and Balance

A fall in later life is one of the most significant causes of decreased quality of life. By increasing strength, coordination, balance and flexibility; the chance of a fall is greatly reduced.

Pulmonary Disorder

Going hand in hand with cardiovascular disease, many pulmonary disorders can be greatly helped through the correct prescription of exercise.

Having diabetes doesn’t mean you can’t live a normal life. Through exercise and a healthy diet, many of the symptoms of Type 2 diabetes can be greatly reduced.

Your GP can set you up with a Type 2 Diabetes referral which will help subsidise group sessions.
